Extensions:

• hit counter improved: before call of media view script was counted, now displaying the medium itself counts (also in other content and modules, optionally in slideshow and slimbox)
• Joomfish support (Joomla 1.5) for translating album and medium attributes with frontend editing controlled by policies
• show and hide albums and media depending on the current language
• date of modification for media and albums added with filter in the manager
• date of last hit for media added, new query in the frontend for recently viewed media
• meta key and meta description added for media and albums
• support for Joomla 1.5 + 1.6 views added (menu link to users album, restore view, top media etc.)
• new upload method: HTML5 + Flash with plupload
• new quick upload using flash (plupload) in an overlay
• turn off upload dialog by deactivating all upload methods (use overlay flash upload only)
• possibility to automatically convert all uploaded images to a certain type (gif, jpg or png)
• deactivate access to managers controlled by policies
• remove albums in the frontend
• mark preview images of media and albums which are new (configurable period) with an icon in the lower right corner
• define albums and media as "featured" and query for them in frontend and managers, plugins and modules
• updated javascripts to work with jQuery 1.6.2
• latest version of Jumploader Java upload applet
• FLV-Player added as an alternative for FlowPlayer

Fixes:

• lesser conflicts with other extensions using jQuery
• tab control for normal users (allow comments and ecards) did not work
• page index for album table on the gallery start page did not work with SEF urls turned on
• albums could not be created under certain conditions
• ecard manager did not respect page length set in the preferences
• FTP removal of directories did not work
• missing addCustomHeadTag() support in Mambo backend: Stylesheets were not loaded
• comment manager automatically selected source even if it was turned off in the preferences
• medium description in the upload dialog was ignored when TinyMCE was used instead of simple text area
• problem occured when a medium with the same filename exists during multi partition upload
• slimbox for all media in an album or a query result did not work when watermarks had to be applied on the fly
• quota were not properly read and written in the preferences for Joomla 1.6.x
• no managers for Joomla 1.6.x with default languages other than English
• no notices (deprecated) anymore when running on PHP 5.3.x
